Regina Ivy

Teaching artist based in NYC and Springfield Illinois.

I am currently a student majoring in English and Education. In this profile is my collection of work! I write creatively, professionally, and academically. Just like my work, I myself contain multitudes. Intersectionality affects my work every time I sit down to write it just because I only really know my own experience as a black, queer, neurodivergent woman. I could always see myself in characters, but never as them because I could never be "___" enough for it. Every piece I write speaks to that feeling of "otherness" whether I mean for it to or not.
